Our first session will be an in-depth assessment that will identify your child’s specific skill needs so I can provide targeted, effective instruction. Each session is tailored to your child’s unique needs, helping them grow as a reader and writer.
Curriculum Based Assessment

On our first session together, your student will be assessed using DIBELS. DIBELS ® (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) is a set of procedures and measures for assessing the acquisition of literacy skills. DIBELS 8th Edition represents the culmination of decades of research into supporting students in becoming successful readers. This information will give me specific data on where to begin our lessons. The assessments may take about 30 minutes, and then after analyzing the data, I will send you an assessment report that shows your student’s strengths and next steps.
45 Minute Lesson
$75
Each 45 minute lesson is tailored to the specific skills your child needs to succeed in reading and writing. Using a Science of Reading approved curriculum, we will spend each lesson working on phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency and/or comprehension.
